Narrative:
While flying approach to runway 13R we descended to 3000 ft as directed by approach. Rj traffic was issued on approach to runway 13L. We were advised that he was on final and clear and we were cleared for the visual. We completed the approach and landing per fom uneventfully. Although we were in visual contact with the parallel traffic; ATC later informed us that they had less than 1000 ft separation on the rj.
