Narrative:
Flight was operating on the following nrp flight plan: boi..broph..crito..beryl..corkr..drk..COYOT2..phx:nrp in the turn over; broph; autoplt engaged flying in navigation; ZLC gave us a 30 degree left turn and told us that we shouldn't cut the corner at broph due to nearby military airspace. As is typical in the airbus; the LNAV course was about 4 mi inside; in this case; west of broph in the turn to crito. The autoplt was flying this LNAV course perfectly. However; this apparently put us too close to military airspace for comfort. We complied with the center vector and were shortly reclred direct to crito. Had we known in advance of this issue; we would have set up broph as an overfly waypoint in the FMGC. This would eliminate the normal FMGC corner cutting maneuver and put the aircraft directly over the fix prior to making the turn to crito. Suggestion: issue a company NOTAM to this effect for all boi departures; and place a similar warning in the remarks section of any flight release containing this route.

Title: A320 FLT CREW GETS CLOSE TO RESTR AREA WHILE NAVING NRP FLT PLAN UTILIZING THE NAV FUNCTION OF THE FMGC.
Narrative: FLT WAS OPERATING ON THE FOLLOWING NRP FLT PLAN: BOI..BROPH..CRITO..BERYL..CORKR..DRK..COYOT2..PHX:NRP IN THE TURN OVER; BROPH; AUTOPLT ENGAGED FLYING IN NAV; ZLC GAVE US A 30 DEG L TURN AND TOLD US THAT WE SHOULDN'T CUT THE CORNER AT BROPH DUE TO NEARBY MIL AIRSPACE. AS IS TYPICAL IN THE AIRBUS; THE LNAV COURSE WAS ABOUT 4 MI INSIDE; IN THIS CASE; W OF BROPH IN THE TURN TO CRITO. THE AUTOPLT WAS FLYING THIS LNAV COURSE PERFECTLY. HOWEVER; THIS APPARENTLY PUT US TOO CLOSE TO MIL AIRSPACE FOR COMFORT. WE COMPLIED WITH THE CTR VECTOR AND WERE SHORTLY RECLRED DIRECT TO CRITO. HAD WE KNOWN IN ADVANCE OF THIS ISSUE; WE WOULD HAVE SET UP BROPH AS AN OVERFLY WAYPOINT IN THE FMGC. THIS WOULD ELIMINATE THE NORMAL FMGC CORNER CUTTING MANEUVER AND PUT THE ACFT DIRECTLY OVER THE FIX PRIOR TO MAKING THE TURN TO CRITO. SUGGESTION: ISSUE A COMPANY NOTAM TO THIS EFFECT FOR ALL BOI DEPS; AND PLACE A SIMILAR WARNING IN THE REMARKS SECTION OF ANY FLT RELEASE CONTAINING THIS RTE.
