Narrative:
Aircraft #2 called 3 mi southeast for mettetal 18. Aircraft #1 was 1 mi west on crosswind for runway 18 and at the south end of runway 18 called crosswind entering downwind 18 mettetal. I was concerned that I had not located aircraft #2. When I did; action was taken to avoid aircraft #2 by diving under aircraft #2. The problem may have been avoided by turning or lifting wing to clear blind spot -- perhaps by both aircraft. Aircraft #2 did not indicate they had received my position report.
