Narrative:

At 15 mi out; the primary is set to fort collins level and several full stop small aircraft are in the pattern for runway. I also note conversation between approach and a learjet; approach was informing him of no traffic between him and fort collins. I make square turns; I took a concentrated look on final since I am making a very short pattern. I saw and heard nothing while on base. The other ground aircraft position for his run-up in the run-up area at the end of the runway. Satisfied the aircraft on the ground was not going to make an immediate departure; I announce a high short final landing long. At about 200 ft over the numbers and perhaps 500 ft down runway; descending to land; the learjet came from under my aircraft and made a steep climb in front of me. My first thought was that somehow I had missed him taking off at the end of the runway. I aborted the landing and sidestepped to the right to avoid his wake. I heard the call from someone on the ground (did the lear touch down?). I replied no; he was in front of me and that I had no idea he was in the pattern; the other guy on the ground responded that he didn't either. The lear headed out on upwind then called (do you hear learjet?). I responded 'loud and clear' and that I was upwind behind him and planning to stay inside and would allow him to land first. Learjet then gave a position report. I landed behind him and watched him taxi to the jet center. I parked the plane in the hangar then proceeded to the jet center.

Title: PA28 PLT HAS AN NMAC DURING LNDG.

Narrative: AT 15 MI OUT; THE PRIMARY IS SET TO FORT COLLINS LEVEL AND SEVERAL FULL STOP SMALL ACFT ARE IN THE PATTERN FOR RWY. I ALSO NOTE CONVERSATION BTWN APCH AND A LEARJET; APCH WAS INFORMING HIM OF NO TFC BTWN HIM AND FORT COLLINS. I MAKE SQUARE TURNS; I TOOK A CONCENTRATED LOOK ON FINAL SINCE I AM MAKING A VERY SHORT PATTERN. I SAW AND HEARD NOTHING WHILE ON BASE. THE OTHER GND ACFT POS FOR HIS RUN-UP IN THE RUN-UP AREA AT THE END OF THE RWY. SATISFIED THE ACFT ON THE GND WAS NOT GOING TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE DEP; I ANNOUNCE A HIGH SHORT FINAL LNDG LONG. AT ABOUT 200 FT OVER THE NUMBERS AND PERHAPS 500 FT DOWN RWY; DSNDING TO LAND; THE LEARJET CAME FROM UNDER MY ACFT AND MADE A STEEP CLB IN FRONT OF ME. MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT SOMEHOW I HAD MISSED HIM TAKING OFF AT THE END OF THE RWY. I ABORTED THE LNDG AND SIDESTEPPED TO THE R TO AVOID HIS WAKE. I HEARD THE CALL FROM SOMEONE ON THE GND (DID THE LEAR TOUCH DOWN?). I REPLIED NO; HE WAS IN FRONT OF ME AND THAT I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS IN THE PATTERN; THE OTHER GUY ON THE GND RESPONDED THAT HE DIDN'T EITHER. THE LEAR HEADED OUT ON UPWIND THEN CALLED (DO YOU HEAR LEARJET?). I RESPONDED 'LOUD AND CLR' AND THAT I WAS UPWIND BEHIND HIM AND PLANNING TO STAY INSIDE AND WOULD ALLOW HIM TO LAND FIRST. LEARJET THEN GAVE A POS RPT. I LANDED BEHIND HIM AND WATCHED HIM TAXI TO THE JET CTR. I PARKED THE PLANE IN THE HANGAR THEN PROCEEDED TO THE JET CTR.
