Narrative:

Operating above certified gross weight. It was brought to attention I was using the wrong loading table. This resulted in flight operations being 150 pounds over gross. A proper loading table is very necessary because the fuel gauges are in KG; not pounds or gallons. Passenger and baggage in pounds/fuel burn is in gallons converted to pounds -- lots of room for error. Fuel gauges should be in pounds for simple conversion fuel burn in pounds.

Title: AUGUSTA 119 PLT OPERATED ACFT OVER CERTIFIED GROSS WT.

Narrative: OPERATING ABOVE CERTIFIED GROSS WT. IT WAS BROUGHT TO ATTN I WAS USING THE WRONG LOADING TABLE. THIS RESULTED IN FLT OPS BEING 150 LBS OVER GROSS. A PROPER LOADING TABLE IS VERY NECESSARY BECAUSE THE FUEL GAUGES ARE IN KG; NOT LBS OR GALLONS. PAX AND BAGGAGE IN LBS/FUEL BURN IS IN GALLONS CONVERTED TO LBS -- LOTS OF ROOM FOR ERROR.
