Narrative:

Upon getting a break from position; during the relief briefing I failed to tell the relieving controller about a pointout I took. He climbed the king air into the C182 as a result. With this particular pointout; I did not start a track because it would have caused additional coordination. In my opinion; the inability of stl approach to not be able to plan view display a data block to me partially caused this operational error.
