Narrative:
Indicated air bill; compressed gas; not otherwise specified (methane); class 2.2; UN1956; 1 package 5 kilograms; and another air bill; same description; 15 kilograms. Fmi 13.3.8; a.10 forbids the carriage of liquefied flammable gas. I was unsure as to the exact nature of the gas; but assumed that methane was flammable; so I called cargo operations; who could not further enlighten me on the nature of the cargo; but said that it should be removed. Cargo subsequently pulled the entire pallet; and we took a 25 min delay. Was this a legal cargo?
