Narrative:

I was assigned to replace the nose gear torque links. After finishing my task; I was asked to assist in finishing up the main landing gear replacements. After installation of all the torque links; I performed the 'position proximity sensor' test of the system with the aircraft on the ground. All proximity sensors were indicating normal; so I signed off the work I performed. The amm reference is very unclr about the installation of the targets; regarding which direction they should be installed. This was also my first time to perform this task.
