Narrative:
At gate briefed departure SID; verified WYLYY5 departure and waypoints. At departure end of runway; verified map procedure on checklist; runway; and aircraft touching. After takeoff and selecting LNAV; we noticed that the waypoints garve and wylyy was missing and the FMC was showing direct lycos. The captain flew the 273 degree heading for 2.2 DME and turned to a 235 degree heading. We were concerned that we did not stay within the noise abatement procedure. Once on a heading; ATC gave us a heading southbound and that was the end of the SID. I have never experienced this waypoint drop before.
