Narrative:
We were on a dogleg turning onto final 2 mi east of jetsa at 2500 ft MSL when we were illuminated momentarily by a green laser beam originating from the ground on the right side of the airplane. I didn't actually see the beam as it was below my line of sight. I did see a green glow reflected in the cockpit. I immediately reported the incident to lax tower. We continued to an uneventful landing.
