Narrative:
Upon returning to ZZZ1 from ZZZ2; we were to contact maintenance control. They wanted to know what deferrals were shown for the APU. I gave maintenance the following from the maintenance log -- deferred maintenance item section. APU door MEL 49-14-01-0; dated mar/sat. APU xflow pump MEL 28-24-01-12; dated mar/sun. And; finally; APU MEL 40-10-01 paragraph 1; dated mar/sun. Maintenance said that the APU xflow pump and APU deferral were in conflict with one another and the aircraft shouldn't have flown. The aircraft flew 3 flts on mar/sat and 3 flts before we picked up the aircraft on mar/sun and went to ZZZ2 and back. I saw the deferrals as a progressive problem with the APU system with the final complete deferral of the unit as superseding the previous deferrals.
