Narrative:
Bonham northeast arrival post for dfw. Aircraft had incurred 1 hour delays for WX/thunderstorms no fewer than 6 times. Arrs were shut off and opened within a 1 1/2 hour period. Area completely saturated yet tmu continued to allow departures from tul; ok; departure for dfw. Dfw would allow arrs then shut them off before any aircraft could continue arrival. From a holding pattern; aircraft were descended to same altitude and sequenced inbound then shut off with nowhere to go or altitude to use.

Title: ZFW CTLR DESCRIBED BUSY COMPLEX TFC PERIOD WHEN TMU CONTINUED TO RELEASE ACFT INTO THE SUBJECT AREA WITH NO PLACE TO HOLD OR VECTOR.
Narrative: BONHAM NE ARR POST FOR DFW. ACFT HAD INCURRED 1 HR DELAYS FOR WX/TSTMS NO FEWER THAN 6 TIMES. ARRS WERE SHUT OFF AND OPENED WITHIN A 1 1/2 HR PERIOD.
