Narrative:
Deployed right thrust reverser half on #1 engine and both thrust reverser halves on #2 engine for maintenance. After completion; stowed all back manually. Reinstalled cover plates on CDU's inadvertently backwards; thus unintentionally locking out both thrust reversers.

Title: A B767-400 HAD MAINT PERFORMED ON THE R ENG REVERSER. TECHNICIAN INADVERTENTLY REINSTALLED COVER PLATES ON BOTH CTR DRIVE UNITS BACKWARDS; LOCKING OUT THE THRUST REVERSERS. DISPATCHED WITH ENG REVERSER INOP.
Narrative: DEPLOYED R THRUST REVERSER HALF ON #1 ENG AND BOTH THRUST REVERSER HALVES ON #2 ENG FOR MAINT. AFTER COMPLETION; STOWED ALL BACK MANUALLY. REINSTALLED COVER PLATES ON CDU'S INADVERTENTLY BACKWARDS; THUS UNINTENTIONALLY LOCKING OUT BOTH THRUST REVERSERS.
