Narrative:
Since I arrived in this shop it was considered shop practice to 'nr' [not required] the shot-peen dovetail repair; when required on 8TH stage narrow compressor stator vanes. I have come to find out this is not correct. Engineering service order 72-32-04 repair 2 calls for the shot-peen process to be accomplished. We are currently holding these vanes in our shop and are currently talking to engineering.
