Narrative:

On my departure from sjc; was distracted by radio interference while trying to contact departure control on norcal departure frequency. Initiated right turn out to east slightly beyond designated turn point on san jose 9 departure. Started turn as sorted out frequency difficulty and contacted norcal departure. Departure control reminded crew of turn; crew was already in turn. Rest of flight uneventful.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the flight crew became involved with the radio and the interference on the frequency and neglected to fly the aircraft. The reporter indicated that the norcal departure frequency has had some sort of interference on it each time he has departed the airport.

Narrative: ON MY DEP FROM SJC; WAS DISTRACTED BY RADIO INTERFERENCE WHILE TRYING TO CONTACT DEP CTL ON NORCAL DEP FREQUENCY. DEP CTL REMINDED CREW OF TURN; CREW WAS ALREADY IN TURN. REST OF FLT UNEVENTFUL.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE FLT CREW BECAME INVOLVED WITH THE RADIO AND THE INTERFERENCE ON THE FREQUENCY AND NEGLECTED TO FLY THE ACFT. THE RPTR INDICATED THAT THE NORCAL DEP FREQUENCY HAS HAD SOME SORT OF INTERFERENCE ON IT EACH TIME HE HAS DEPARTED THE ARPT.
