Narrative:
We were assigned to repos the airplane from the GA side of the airport; spot X to the terminal spot Y to begin our assigned flts. We were cleared to hold short of runway 35 at K5 by ground control (121.9) from spot X en route to K5. We were switched to tower frequency for runway 35 (118.3). Before reaching K5; tower cleared us to cross runways 35 and 32 at K5. The first officer read back the clearance in its entirety; then read the clearance to me. I responded to him with cleared to cross. As we started across; we noticed a hawker cpr jet on rollout. He was approximately 1000 ft down the runway at taxi speed. As we were crossing; the hawker pilot reported to tower that there was an airplane crossing in front of him. Tower responded to the hawker 'sorry about that; my fault.' upon reaching the terminal; I called the pilot of the hawker and apologized for the crossing. He responded that it was no problem; he was planning to take K5 as an exit to the runway anyway; ATC just hadn't said anything to him. No further action was taken by either myself or the first officer.

Title: A PIPER NAVAJO CREW WAS CLRED TO TAXI ACROSS A RWY AT SLC. AS THEY CROSSED; THEY NOTICED A HAWKER ON LNDG ROLL ON THE SAME RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE ASSIGNED TO REPOS THE AIRPLANE FROM THE GA SIDE OF THE ARPT; SPOT X TO THE TERMINAL SPOT Y TO BEGIN OUR ASSIGNED FLTS. WE WERE CLRED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 35 AT K5 BY GND CTL (121.9) FROM SPOT X ENRTE TO K5. WE WERE SWITCHED TO TWR FREQ FOR RWY 35 (118.3). BEFORE REACHING K5; TWR CLRED US TO CROSS RWYS 35 AND 32 AT K5. THE FO READ BACK THE CLRNC IN ITS ENTIRETY; THEN READ THE CLRNC TO ME. I RESPONDED TO HIM WITH CLRED TO CROSS. AS WE STARTED ACROSS; WE NOTICED A HAWKER CPR JET ON ROLLOUT. HE WAS APPROX 1000 FT DOWN THE RWY AT TAXI SPD. AS WE WERE XING; THE HAWKER PLT RPTED TO TWR THAT THERE WAS AN AIRPLANE XING IN FRONT OF HIM. TWR RESPONDED TO THE HAWKER 'SORRY ABOUT THAT; MY FAULT.' UPON REACHING THE TERMINAL; I CALLED THE PLT OF THE HAWKER AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE XING. HE RESPONDED THAT IT WAS NO PROB; HE WAS PLANNING TO TAKE K5 AS AN EXIT TO THE RWY ANYWAY; ATC JUST HADN'T SAID ANYTHING TO HIM. NO FURTHER ACTION WAS TAKEN BY EITHER MYSELF OR THE FO.
