Narrative:
The citation was cleared for the dal 8 swb transition and was assigned runway heading out of dfw. Prior to departure the FMS was programmed for the departure. During climb out; a distraction occurred on the flight deck; and the autoplt was engaged in the navigation mode. After joining the 094 degree radial of the maverick (TTT) VOR; the autoplt automatic sequenced to the clare intersection and a left turn was initiated. Shortly after and joining the radial; the departure controller radioed aircraft X; turn right; turn immediately to 170 degrees; followed by a further turn to 180 degrees. The autoplt was placed in the heading mode and a right turn to 180 degrees was completed. When the turn to 180 degrees was complete we were cleared direct to clare intersection and given the phone for dfw controllers to contact upon arrival at pns. The remaining flight to pns occurred without incident. The controllers were contacted immediately upon arrival and all information was passed. During the phone conversation; the controller stated that no traffic alerts occurred.
