Narrative:
On may/fri/06M aircraft was originally scheduled to get a line check in ZZZ from XA45-XF31. The aircraft was OTS in ZZZ1 for a hydraulic leak in r-hand wheel well which delayed its arrival at ZZZ to XC01. Because it was broken earlier; the lead had disregarded the inspection noting 'broke in ZZZ1' on the check schedule for ZZZ. When the plane landed at ZZZ it had a pilot report of a nosewheel vibration which was corrected by replacing the nose tires on log page. At the same time we were working a bird strike on the #2 engine on another air carrier; a propeller deice caution on another air carrier and 2 dailies. At the last min it was discovered that air carrier X was our line check from earlier. Planning was notified that we missed the line check. Then he called back and asked if the planer was still on the ground and the answer was no. He then said that because the plane was broke in ZZZ1; it did not get a daily for may/thu/06 and one was required before the plane could fly revenue. Getting a line check would have satisfied that requirement. When the plane left here at XD20 it was headed for ZZZ2 where on-call maintenance was called out to check and work a daily and accomplished this on log page. While most certainly we should have monitored the status of the aircraft often times maintenance control/planning will keep us advised regarding delays due to something being broke out of town so we can adjust our schedules accordingly. This did not happen this time which was a break from the norm.

Title: A DHC8-200 WAS SCHEDULED FOR A LINE CHK ON ARR AT ZZZ. LEAD TECHNICIAN PLAN HAD THE ACFT OTS DOWNLINE. CHK WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED.
Narrative: ON MAY/FRI/06M ACFT WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TO GET A LINE CHK IN ZZZ FROM XA45-XF31. THE ACFT WAS OTS IN ZZZ1 FOR A HYD LEAK IN R-HAND WHEEL WELL WHICH DELAYED ITS ARR AT ZZZ TO XC01. BECAUSE IT WAS BROKEN EARLIER; THE LEAD HAD DISREGARDED THE INSPECTION NOTING 'BROKE IN ZZZ1' ON THE CHK SCHEDULE FOR ZZZ. WHEN THE PLANE LANDED AT ZZZ IT HAD A PLT RPT OF A NOSEWHEEL VIBRATION WHICH WAS CORRECTED BY REPLACING THE NOSE TIRES ON LOG PAGE. AT THE SAME TIME WE WERE WORKING A BIRD STRIKE ON THE #2 ENG ON ANOTHER ACR; A PROP DEICE CAUTION ON ANOTHER ACR AND 2 DAILIES. AT THE LAST MIN IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT ACR X WAS OUR LINE CHK FROM EARLIER. PLANNING WAS NOTIFIED THAT WE MISSED THE LINE CHK. THEN HE CALLED BACK AND ASKED IF THE PLANER WAS STILL ON THE GND AND THE ANSWER WAS NO. HE THEN SAID THAT BECAUSE THE PLANE WAS BROKE IN ZZZ1; IT DID NOT GET A DAILY FOR MAY/THU/06 AND ONE WAS REQUIRED BEFORE THE PLANE COULD FLY REVENUE. GETTING A LINE CHK WOULD HAVE SATISFIED THAT REQUIREMENT. WHEN THE PLANE LEFT HERE AT XD20 IT WAS HEADED FOR ZZZ2 WHERE ON-CALL MAINT WAS CALLED OUT TO CHECK AND WORK A DAILY AND ACCOMPLISHED THIS ON LOG PAGE. WHILE MOST CERTAINLY WE SHOULD HAVE MONITORED THE STATUS OF THE ACFT OFTEN TIMES MAINT CTL/PLANNING WILL KEEP US ADVISED REGARDING DELAYS DUE TO SOMETHING BEING BROKE OUT OF TOWN SO WE CAN ADJUST OUR SCHEDULES ACCORDINGLY. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN THIS TIME WHICH WAS A BREAK FROM THE NORM.
