Narrative:
I was in cruise flight; returning to 8s4 with passenger picked up at a remote landing strip; and apparently the helicopter approached from approximately my 8:30 O'clock position; above; and from the left. In a high wing aircraft; that is the blind side. The helicopter flew over the top of us; and the first I saw of him; he was appearing above my windscreen. I did not have time to take any corrective action; and it us unknown whether he ever saw me. If I had TCAS; he probably would've been detected; even if he was approaching from my blind side.
