Narrative:
After a normal RNAV load and departure check; I made an uneventful takeoff and RNAV couple-up on the CLARE2 departure. Inbound to sawmill; center called and asked if we were on the departure. We said yes we were on the clare departure and inbound to swb. They said we need to go to tekbe first then swb. We looked at the box and tekbe was not in there so we loaded tekbe and made about a 15 degree correction to tekbe. A few minutes later; they called and asked us to contact center. We loaded the clare departure again and the box did in fact have all departure points including tekbe. I guess we failed to notice; that for whatever reason; the box dropped tekbe even with the departure correctly loaded and flying in navigation mode.
