Narrative:
I was told that there were 4 infants on board but only 3 infant life vests. I reviewed flight manual part 1 and found no reference to infant life vests. I called dispatch with our concern. The dispatcher was only able to find an MEL that would be used if the aircraft had less than 3 life vests. The aircraft had 3 infant life vests. We determined that we were in compliance and the flight proceeded uneventfully.
