Narrative:
MEL 21-9 cabin pressure control system method 3 was applied for a cabin door seal that fell off. The MEL indicates that the 'flight is conducted unpressurized at or below 10000 ft MSL.' upon conducting the cruise check it occurred to us that the cabin was in fact pressurized. Upon arrival; I consulted maintenance control and it was determined that MEL 21-8 should in fact have been the MEL applied. Maintenance came and rectified the situation by applying MEL 21-8.
