Narrative:
Awaiting departure at fll the local controller cleared my aircraft for an immediate takeoff and advised us that an aircraft was on a 5 mi final. As we began to roll onto runway 9L from the north side a B737 simultaneously rolled onto runway 9L from the opposite side and took off in front of us. We slammed on the brakes to avoid the aircraft and advise ATC that we had passed the hold short lines. The local controller told us that we were 'ok' and they allowed the aircraft on final to land and then we departed next.
