Narrative:

During pushback from gate; the tug driver did not ask the captain to park his brakes. We were under the impression that he had stopped just momentarily while traffic behind us cleared. However; we saw the ground crew running out from under the nose of the aircraft and the tug driver then said to us we were rolling. The captain then parked the brakes; the ground crew gave us a salute and off we went to msy. On walkaround at msy; I found the right nose tire flat; the valve stem to the right nose tire bent about 45 degrees and the pressure gauge shattered.
