Narrative:
Taxiing a piper cub on the grass next to the runway with radio on. Observed a glider turning final; no radio calls were heard. Glider started drifting towards me. Started a turn to the right to avoid conflict. Glider appears to correct so I reversed the turn to the left to give him more space while adding some power to speed up the turn. Glider appears to correct not enough; so I increase the turning to the left. Hit taxi sign with the propeller. Glider lands on the grass normal. Damage; propeller tip bend; taxi sign damaged.
