Narrative:
Received pre departure clearance on ACARS with jfk 9 departure bridge climb. Shortly after liftoff; tower instructed us to fly breezy pt climb and contact departure. I informed him of pre departure clearance and advised him of bridge climb. He said it did not exist anymore and asked if we could fly the breezy climb and I responded affirmative and continued on using the breezy pt climb. The commercial chart page still shows the bridge climb as a possible clearance. It might have been a bit of a scramble if I was not familiar with the departures from that runway.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A B767-300 PLT RECEIVED A JFK 9 DEP WITH A BRIDGE CLB BUT WAS INFORMED AFTER TKOF THAT DEP DID NOT EXIST.
Narrative: RECEIVED PDC ON ACARS WITH JFK 9 DEP BRIDGE CLB. SHORTLY AFTER LIFTOFF; TWR INSTRUCTED US TO FLY BREEZY PT CLB AND CONTACT DEP. I INFORMED HIM OF PDC AND ADVISED HIM OF BRIDGE CLB. HE SAID IT DID NOT EXIST ANYMORE AND ASKED IF WE COULD FLY THE BREEZY CLB AND I RESPONDED AFFIRMATIVE AND CONTINUED ON USING THE BREEZY PT CLB. THE COMMERCIAL CHART PAGE STILL SHOWS THE BRIDGE CLB AS A POSSIBLE CLRNC. IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A BIT OF A SCRAMBLE IF I WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE DEPS FROM THAT RWY.
