Narrative:
Incorrect transponder installed. Replaced transponder with the type that already installed on aircraft. The eco (engineering change order) did not show being accomplished; that is why I went to the aircraft to see what was installed on aircraft. Transponder was changed at a downline station. Will use ipc when multiple company part numbers for same part are installed. There is 3 different company part numbers for fleet. Eco was not being shown on eco listing for this aircraft.
