Narrative:

At cruise we smelled a brief electrical odor. We contacted dispatch and maintenance. Nearing las the odor returned. I ran the checklist for smoke/fume/odor and we diverted to las. Their were no EICAS msgs. The result was an avionics cooling exhaust fan. The flight landed uneventfully.

Title: A B767-300 FLT CREW EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL ODOR FROM AN AVIONICS COOLING FAN AND DIVERTED TO LAS.

Narrative: AT CRUISE WE SMELLED A BRIEF ELECTRICAL ODOR. WE CONTACTED DISPATCH AND MAINT. NEARING LAS THE ODOR RETURNED. I RAN THE CHKLIST FOR SMOKE/FUME/ODOR AND WE DIVERTED TO LAS. THEIR WERE NO EICAS MSGS. THE RESULT WAS AN AVIONICS COOLING EXHAUST FAN. THE FLT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.
