Narrative:
On a night currency mission; I landed left of the runway by about 20 ft. This was my second landing; the first on that runway. The runway lights were only working on 1 side. I became distraction on final approach by a radio call and saw what appeared to be the center marker of the runway. By the time I realized I was off; I clipped a barbed wire fence and committed myself to landing. I had been awake for 16 hours and had spent over 6 hours in the cockpit that day. I also had not eaten in some time. Some fatigue and night may also have been a contributing factor.
