Narrative:
I was informed by the audit team that a stabilizer trim motor was being replaced with incomplete paperwork. The amt's replaced the motor by referencing the maintenance manual but did not use the maintenance check card. I forgot to issue a maintenance check card 27-94-15. After being told that by the audit team. Pull section 12 of the maintenance check card before replacing any component; in order to verify that a special card should be used during that replacement. Only the component change card was used to replace the stabilizer motor change. The fleet maintenance regulation does not refer to the special card.

Title: AN MD80 STABILIZER TRIM MOTOR WAS REPLACED PER THE MAINT MANUAL. COMPANY POLICY IS TO ALSO USE A MAINT CHK JOB CARD FOR THIS COMPONENT.
