Narrative:
Upon departure from runway 17R in dfw on the SOLDO2 RNAV departure; we followed the FMS commanded turn. The controller then issued us a 120 degree heading. Before changing frequencys he gave us a phone number. After a phone call upon arrival; we learned we turned before trexx. As a crew we followed procedures and double checked the fixes on the departure procedure.
