Narrative:
When leveling off at cruise altitude we noticed that the engines were in takeoff #1 thrust mode. This event occurred after the climb checklist had been completed and numerous ATC altitude leveloffs for traffic had been complied with. The itt at that point was 823 and it had been 26 mins since takeoff. Since there was no way to know if the 5 min limitation had been exceeded the event was written up in the maintenance log and cmh maintenance was informed. The next day a line maintenance technician checked for me and he said the cmc download had not indicated that a limitations exceedance had occurred. Supplemental information from acn 711576: during the climb; we did monitor the EICAS page; and did not observe any amber or red parameters at any time. We determined that it may have been possible that the thrust levers had been inadvertently advanced or bumped past the thrust-set detent during thrust advancement for climb; even temporarily. When the captain selected cruise thrust at FL350; the thrust setting did accept this command; indicating that at that time; the thrust levers were not forward of the thrust set detent.

Title: ARRIVING AT CRUISE ALT AN EMB145 CREW DISCOVERS THAT THE THRUST LIMIT SELECTED WAS IN THE TKOF MODE.
Narrative: WHEN LEVELING OFF AT CRUISE ALT WE NOTICED THAT THE ENGS WERE IN TKOF #1 THRUST MODE. THIS EVENT OCCURRED AFTER THE CLB CHKLIST HAD BEEN COMPLETED AND NUMEROUS ATC ALT LEVELOFFS FOR TFC HAD BEEN COMPLIED WITH. THE ITT AT THAT POINT WAS 823 AND IT HAD BEEN 26 MINS SINCE TKOF. SINCE THERE WAS NO WAY TO KNOW IF THE 5 MIN LIMITATION HAD BEEN EXCEEDED THE EVENT WAS WRITTEN UP IN THE MAINT LOG AND CMH MAINT WAS INFORMED. THE NEXT DAY A LINE MAINT TECHNICIAN CHKED FOR ME AND HE SAID THE CMC DOWNLOAD HAD NOT INDICATED THAT A LIMITATIONS EXCEEDANCE HAD OCCURRED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 711576: DURING THE CLB; WE DID MONITOR THE EICAS PAGE; AND DID NOT OBSERVE ANY AMBER OR RED PARAMETERS AT ANY TIME. WE DETERMINED THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE THAT THE THRUST LEVERS HAD BEEN INADVERTENTLY ADVANCED OR BUMPED PAST THE THRUST-SET DETENT DURING THRUST ADVANCEMENT FOR CLB; EVEN TEMPORARILY. WHEN THE CAPT SELECTED CRUISE THRUST AT FL350; THE THRUST SETTING DID ACCEPT THIS COMMAND; INDICATING THAT AT THAT TIME; THE THRUST LEVERS WERE NOT FORWARD OF THE THRUST SET DETENT.
