Narrative:
On the night of sep/tue/06; I was acting lead technician. In the course of accomplishing my workload for the evening. I forgot to sign the logbook release for aircraft X which had an 'a' check assigned that night. We have updated the acting lead technician checklist and added a second checklist; a second set of eyes as well. These measures should ensure that errors of this nature will not occur in the future.

Narrative: ON THE NIGHT OF SEP/TUE/06; I WAS ACTING LEAD TECHNICIAN. IN THE COURSE OF ACCOMPLISHING MY WORKLOAD FOR THE EVENING. I FORGOT TO SIGN THE LOGBOOK RELEASE FOR ACFT X WHICH HAD AN 'A' CHK ASSIGNED THAT NIGHT. WE HAVE UPDATED THE ACTING LEAD TECHNICIAN CHKLIST AND ADDED A SECOND CHKLIST; A SECOND SET OF EYES AS WELL. THESE MEASURES SHOULD ENSURE THAT ERRORS OF THIS NATURE WILL NOT OCCUR IN THE FUTURE.
