Narrative:
On oct/fri/06; I was sent on a field trip to address frozen (unmovable) engine mounts. Upon arrival the #2 engine scheduled for change was in its shipping stand. The mounts were stiff; but had movement; we noticed that several cotter pins had been removed from the dog bone links. We worked the mounts back and forth until they had full range of motion and installed the missing dog bone cotter pins. There are 2 other cotter pins on the forward mount used in its assembly that would normally not be removed. Engine parts catalog. We do not know if these were removed and request verification. Called maintenance control and had action to be taken placed in flight crew maintenance report for verification of cotter pins.
