Narrative:
During cruise flight; crew received a main deck cargo smoke light with associated ECAM warnings and audible tones. Crew donned oxygen masks; declared emergency and started descent with center control into ZZZ. Airspeed was above 250 KTS momentarily while below 10000 ft. Appropriate emergency procedures were complied with an aircraft landed without incident.

Narrative: DURING CRUISE FLT; CREW RECEIVED A MAIN DECK CARGO SMOKE LIGHT WITH ASSOCIATED ECAM WARNINGS AND AUDIBLE TONES. CREW DONNED OXYGEN MASKS; DECLARED EMER AND STARTED DSCNT WITH CTR CTL INTO ZZZ. AIRSPD WAS ABOVE 250 KTS MOMENTARILY WHILE BELOW 10000 FT. APPROPRIATE EMER PROCS WERE COMPLIED WITH AN ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
