Narrative:
Departed home airport; ZZZ1; flew to neighboring ZZZ2 airport to practice landing. Duats standard briefing with 25 NM radius performed prior to flight. After returning to FBO at ZZZ1 CFI said that ZZZ2 airport manager called to report me landing at a 'closed' airport. CFI and I reviewed duats again and did not find any notices pertaining to closure. CFI called FSS to resolve. Briefer stated that they use FAA NOTAM web for smaller airports; sure enough it was on that website. In the future I will not rely totally on duats and will also check FAA 'NOTAM web' site.
