Narrative:
Released aircraft X from 'B' check nov/xa/06; approximately XA40 am; phone call at home approximately XD00 am from telling me that 3 items not properly deferred (cabin lights) no white placards in logbook. Item was told to him at gate prior to flight by FAA. He installed placards and called me to contact as soon as possible. I notified hotline nov/thu/06; at XD40 am. I reviewed paperwork and production supervisor accomplished deferral; I took for granted that he did it right. Last time I'll do that. Currently on vacation relief shift for late crew -- don't normally deal with logbook.
