Narrative:
Tried to call the FAA safety hotline numerous times to report a serious problem with equipment (amass). Unable to report the issue; as the safety hotline's mailbox is full and I was unable to leave a message. How are we supposed to report safety related issues; in a job that is all about safety; if the FAA's own equipment won't let us? This is unacceptable.
