Narrative:
Aircraft had lightning damage at ZZZ line station. I went up to ZZZ to repair the damaged areas by removing and replacing the fasteners. I removed 4 each fasteners. It was determined to ferry the plane back to ZZZ1. I called engineering to ask if I need to finish the repair for the 4 fasteners or should I put the same diameter blind fastener back in the holes. Engineer instructed me to just put the same diameter fastener back in the holes. Next I called maintenance control and asked what type of deferral that I would use on the log page for the 4 fasteners installed. I was then instructed to add the fastener discrepancy to the irf block of the log page for the items found on the lightning strike inspection because we were going to use that page for the ferry flight. I was also instructed to state that the fasteners were to be installed per engineering. I at that time said that I have never signed a log page in that manner. I was told it would be fine because we have a lot of leeway on ferry flight so it would not be an issue.
