Narrative:

While on final approach to land; I may have failed to notice that I did not have a green light indicating the gear was locked in place; although I had extended the gear on the downwind leg. The airplane landed gear up for reasons that yet have to be determined. This could have been prevented possibly by my being more diligent relative assuring that I had a green light (indicating locked gear) rather than assuming the gear was extended after noting the gear switch was in the down position.
