Narrative:
There is a serious problem with a failure to keep NOTAM and other information on the sector status boards; in the frisco area; at ZFW. During the day; dec/xa/06; that I idented a critical safety error. I was working the ardmore low sector. NOTAMS closing runway 12/30 and the north 1000 ft of runway 17/35 had been on the sector status board for about 3 months. I checked the AFD and determined these NOTAMS had been published (along with others) and asked the supervisor if we could delete them. While waiting for a response; I checked with mlc AFSS on these NOTAMS; and found that the 2 runways had been fully open for over a month. We have been incorrectly reporting a closed runway at pauls valley; and possibly making aircraft land in xwinds; just because our supervisors do not do their job and check and post NOTAMS. The same situation occurs with WX reports; sigmets; and may be the cause of failures to distribute sigmets; convective sigmets; and airmets. The 'a' side position; which used to distribute this data; is no longer used or staffed.

Title: ZFW CTLR EXPRESSED FRUSTRATION WITH REGARD TO MGMNT'S FAILURE TO KEEP NOTAM INFO CURRENT ON THE CTL POS.
Narrative: THERE IS A SERIOUS PROB WITH A FAILURE TO KEEP NOTAM AND OTHER INFO ON THE SECTOR STATUS BOARDS; IN THE FRISCO AREA; AT ZFW. DURING THE DAY; DEC/XA/06; THAT I IDENTED A CRITICAL SAFETY ERROR. I WAS WORKING THE ARDMORE LOW SECTOR. WHILE WAITING FOR A RESPONSE; I CHKED WITH MLC AFSS ON THESE NOTAMS; AND FOUND THAT THE 2 RWYS HAD BEEN FULLY OPEN FOR OVER A MONTH. WE HAVE BEEN INCORRECTLY RPTING A CLOSED RWY AT PAULS VALLEY; AND POSSIBLY MAKING ACFT LAND IN XWINDS; JUST BECAUSE OUR SUPVRS DO NOT DO THEIR JOB AND CHK AND POST NOTAMS. THE SAME SITUATION OCCURS WITH WX RPTS; SIGMETS; AND MAY BE THE CAUSE OF FAILURES TO DISTRIBUTE SIGMETS; CONVECTIVE SIGMETS; AND AIRMETS. THE 'A' SIDE POS; WHICH USED TO DISTRIBUTE THIS DATA; IS NO LONGER USED OR STAFFED.
