Narrative:
We pushed out of stl. The captain had gone outside and done a critical surface check just before pushback as a precaution and saw no accumulation. ATIS reported precipitation as RA with temperature 00 and dew point -1. We took off on runway 30L without incident; just behind another carrier's flight. We saw no indication whatsoever of freezing rain; nor received any WX change information from tower. Takeoff and climb out were normal. Upon landing; dispatch called and asked if we were aware of a metar that came out indicating stl had fzra and if stl tower had said anything. We said no. We had no knowledge of this and were not informed of any change to ATIS. As far as we could tell; we had no accumulation on the aircraft. During deteriorating WX conditions; last minute changes should be relayed to crew members immediately if it affects their takeoff decision. I don't know how we could have gotten this last minute information ourselves. We had the latest ATIS.
