Narrative:

Lack of situational awareness by the marshaller and possible complacency; and lack of alertness. While taxiing into gate; I was following instructions from the lead (front) marshaller to park at the gate. She motioned me in and as I was motioned to stop; the left wing walker was supposedly trying to inform the lead (front) marshaller to stop because of a baggage cart placed too close to the path of my aircraft. The lead marshaller did not see her and I was following her instructions and in doing so; the left wingtip navigation light lens cover scraped the baggage cart.
