Narrative:
Aircraft cockpit doors open during the takeoff roll on a regular basis. This is a serious distraction to the flight crew and creates the possibility for flight attendant injury and or security incident. The procedures we use to address this issue clearly don't work because the door is still opening at least once per trip; based on my personal experience. I believe the FAA needs to issue an airworthiness directive on the door and require the door be manually locked until boeing comes up with a fix for the door.
