Narrative:
In 2006 I submitted a report on a cell tower that had been erected between the time that flight check had checked the approach and the time that the airport opened later I was contacted by flight check. I described the situation to him and he rechked the approach. He called me back and said that he did not know if the tower was legal or not; but he was turning his findings in to oklahoma city and that the tower would be depicted on the approach plate in the next few cycles. As of this date it is still not depicted and it is a dangerous situation. The local FSDO stated this was not their problem. It had to be handled out of washington. Please help get this tower depicted on the VOR approach into pve. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated the uncharted tower is approximately 246 ft AGL and is located approximately 3.6 NM from the end of the runway. Reporter states he feels the tower is a potential hazard to any pilot who descends early on the approach.

Title: PLT RPTS THERE IS AN UNCHARTED OBSTACLE (A CELL TWR) DIRECTLY ON THE VOR APCH COURSE TO PVE ARPT; APPROX 3 PT 6 MI FROM THE ARPT; APPROX 246 FT AGL.
Narrative: IN 2006 I SUBMITTED A RPT ON A CELL TWR THAT HAD BEEN ERECTED BTWN THE TIME THAT FLT CHK HAD CHKED THE APCH AND THE TIME THAT THE ARPT OPENED LATER I WAS CONTACTED BY FLT CHK. I DESCRIBED THE SITUATION TO HIM AND HE RECHKED THE APCH. HE CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THAT HE DID NOT KNOW IF THE TWR WAS LEGAL OR NOT; BUT HE WAS TURNING HIS FINDINGS IN TO OKLAHOMA CITY AND THAT THE TWR WOULD BE DEPICTED ON THE APCH PLATE IN THE NEXT FEW CYCLES. AS OF THIS DATE IT IS STILL NOT DEPICTED AND IT IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. THE LCL FSDO STATED THIS WAS NOT THEIR PROB. IT HAD TO BE HANDLED OUT OF WASHINGTON. PLEASE HELP GET THIS TWR DEPICTED ON THE VOR APCH INTO PVE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THE UNCHARTED TWR IS APPROX 246 FT AGL AND IS LOCATED APPROX 3.6 NM FROM THE END OF THE RWY. RPTR STATES HE FEELS THE TWR IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD TO ANY PLT WHO DSNDS EARLY ON THE APCH.
