Narrative:

Approaching the top of climb the aircraft yawed. The left engine EPR was rolling back to approximately 1.30 to 1.26. Right EPR was normal 1.5. By the time I got my hand on the throttles the left engine EPR returned to normal. Contacted flight dispatcher/maintenance and a return to ZZZ1 was elected. Engine remained normal during return. Fuel dumped approximately 30000 pounds at 30000 ft MSL. Landed at approximately 332000 total gross weight. Vsi less than 200 FPM.
