Narrative:
About 150 NM from iah; the captain and I began to collect arrival data for the houston airport. I recorded the current ATIS and noted runways 27; 26L; and 26R were in use. We briefed the das 6 arrival with an ILS approach to runway 27. Center cleared us to cross the das VOR at 250 KTS and 10000 ft. Shortly after we complied with the center; we were handed off to houston approach. We checked in with approach and the controller responded with 'expect ILS runway 8L.' this was the first we had heard of the runway change. We quickly changed the loaded approach and briefed the new ILS. However; we failed to note that procedures for the das 6 arrival change with the east runways in effect. After 'daetn' we were supposed to proceed direct to 'joesz.' because of the last min runway change and short time between the das VOR and 'daetn;' the FMS was still programmed to 'rehab' for runway 27. The controller noted us headed to 'rehab' and corrected us to proceed direct 'joesz.' no further issues.

Title: EMB170 CREW RECEIVES RWY CHANGE DURING THE DAS6 ARRIVAL; AND AFTER ENTERING THE CHANGE IN THE FMC FORGETS TO REPROGRAM THE DAS6 FOR THE NEW RWY.
Narrative: ABOUT 150 NM FROM IAH; THE CAPT AND I BEGAN TO COLLECT ARR DATA FOR THE HOUSTON ARPT. I RECORDED THE CURRENT ATIS AND NOTED RWYS 27; 26L; AND 26R WERE IN USE. WE BRIEFED THE DAS 6 ARR WITH AN ILS APCH TO RWY 27. CTR CLRED US TO CROSS THE DAS VOR AT 250 KTS AND 10000 FT. SHORTLY AFTER WE COMPLIED WITH THE CTR; WE WERE HANDED OFF TO HOUSTON APCH. WE CHKED IN WITH APCH AND THE CTLR RESPONDED WITH 'EXPECT ILS RWY 8L.' THIS WAS THE FIRST WE HAD HEARD OF THE RWY CHANGE. WE QUICKLY CHANGED THE LOADED APCH AND BRIEFED THE NEW ILS. HOWEVER; WE FAILED TO NOTE THAT PROCS FOR THE DAS 6 ARR CHANGE WITH THE E RWYS IN EFFECT. AFTER 'DAETN' WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PROCEED DIRECT TO 'JOESZ.' BECAUSE OF THE LAST MIN RWY CHANGE AND SHORT TIME BTWN THE DAS VOR AND 'DAETN;' THE FMS WAS STILL PROGRAMMED TO 'REHAB' FOR RWY 27. THE CTLR NOTED US HEADED TO 'REHAB' AND CORRECTED US TO PROCEED DIRECT 'JOESZ.' NO FURTHER ISSUES.
