Narrative:
Aircraft X air turn backed to ZZZ due to loss of #1 air data system. Upon arrival the captain's pitot hose connector on the air data module (adm) was found disconnected due to earlier troubleshooting of a WX radar discrepancy. The radar WX transceiver was removed and reinstalled for troubleshooting. The pitot hose connector was removed due to it was difficult to remove the transceiver and to reduce the risk of damaging the adm. After securing the pitot hose connector and performing a successful operational check of the #1 air data system I released the aircraft for service. I failed to have the aircraft recertified to CAT 3 status. Because of the situation of an air return; I was distraction and stressed that my lack of awareness was the reason of an aircraft returning due to substandard maintenance on my part. It is unknown to me if the aircraft had been recertified to CAT 3 status.

Title: B-737 ACFT HAD AIR TURN BACK DUE TO LOSS OF #1 AIR DATA SYSTEM. CAPTAIN'S PITOT HOSE CONNECTOR ON THE AIR DATA MODULE WAS FOUND DISCONNECTED.
Narrative: ACFT X AIR TURN BACKED TO ZZZ DUE TO LOSS OF #1 AIR DATA SYS. UPON ARR THE CAPT'S PITOT HOSE CONNECTOR ON THE AIR DATA MODULE (ADM) WAS FOUND DISCONNECTED DUE TO EARLIER TROUBLESHOOTING OF A WX RADAR DISCREPANCY. AFTER SECURING THE PITOT HOSE CONNECTOR AND PERFORMING A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHK OF THE #1 AIR DATA SYS I RELEASED THE ACFT FOR SVC. I FAILED TO HAVE THE ACFT RECERTIFIED TO CAT 3 STATUS. BECAUSE OF THE SITUATION OF AN AIR RETURN; I WAS DISTR AND STRESSED THAT MY LACK OF AWARENESS WAS THE REASON OF AN ACFT RETURNING DUE TO SUBSTANDARD MAINT ON MY PART. IT IS UNKNOWN TO ME IF THE ACFT HAD BEEN RECERTIFIED TO CAT 3 STATUS.
