Narrative:
25 mi during cruise the airplane lost the left engine. I tried to restart and troubleshoot the engine but did not restart satisfactory. Airplane started to drift-down; at 2000 ft the engine was feathered and still coming down at vse speed. Finally level off at 600 ft from 10 mi of the airport. Landed satisfactory. No injuries; no damage. Airplane was full weight and the temperature was 93 degrees F.
