Narrative:
The flight was planned on a normal profile; but should have been planned unpressurized below 10000 ft. Maintenance control from B737 desk at maintenance control advised that flight abc should have been planned unpressurized. I immediately sent an ACARS message to the flight. While I was typing the flight advised that they had lost pressurization and were diverting to ZZZZ1. I received an ACARS message from the crew. The flight descended to below 10000 ft and diverted to ZZZZ1. Ferry flight advisory as well as ferry permit should include information on known restrs such as unpressurized flight required. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that this was a maintenance ferry; and was initially planned and filed at normal altitudes. After the flight had departed; information was received from maintenance that the flight should be flown unpressurized below 10000 ft.
